Consultation & Comfort
Upon arrival you will be welcomed by one of our resident piercers who will guide you through our jewellery selection, answering any questions, and assisting you and your child with choosing the most appropriate (and sparkly!) jewellery choice for tiny ears!
Here at Percus we have a huge range of attachments to offer. These attachments fit onto our flat back labret jewellery which we use for maximum comfort and safety.
To ensure the smoothest healing journey for your child we only use jewellery from vendors verified by the UKAPP.
Clean & Safe Preparation
Safety is our top priority. Luxury and safety go hand in hand. We pierce using single use, sterile needles for a smooth, safe piercing experience. We explain each step as we go so your child knows what's happening and feels in control of their experience - helping to ease nerves and build trust.
The Piercing!
Our resident piercers will clean the piercing area and spend time getting that placement just right! We get both parent and child involved in the marking process to make sure everyone is happy and confident in our placements. We then use an efficient, precise technique to minimize discomfort. The actual piercing process is over in a moment and then it's finally time to check out those sparkles!
Aftercare Made Simple
Once you have had adequate time to check out your new bling we provide parents and kid's with clear easy-to-follow aftercare instructions, tailored to your lifestyle. Proper aftercare is the trick to ensuring a smooth healing journey. Plus, our team is always available for any questions or reassurance during your healing period just a quick check up appointment, an email, or a phone call away for any questions or reassurance during your healing period.

Important Information & Safety Guidelines
Age & Consent Policies:
At Percus we pierce earlobes from the age of 8 and up.
Anyone under the age of 16 requires a consenting parent or legal guardian (with appropriate documentation). A legal guardian is appointed by court - not Auntie, Granny, friends Dad etc.
All parties present (piercee and consenting adult) need to bring a form of government recognised photographic I.D. This could be: a driving license, passport, young scot card, birth certificate etc. This needs to be the physical form, we cannot accept a picture of I.D.
Healing timeline & Swimming/Activity Guidelines:
Earlobes typically take around 8-12 weeks to fully heal.
Any piercing should be done a minimum of 6 weeks before swimming.
This includes swimming in pools and the sea so please take this into consideration when booking in around the holidays. We understand the idea of new sparkles for a holiday sounds great! However the reality of having to look after fresh - potentially grumpy - piercings while away on holiday is not fun!
Booking in for when you come home is truly the best way to cure the holiday blues!
We provide you with clear aftercare instructions to help your child's piercing heal safely and beautifully.
